The Ripstick 94w remains at the front of the pack. The 2023 model got an updated top sheet that looks great and is more durable than previous year models. We weren't expecting to be blown away by a ski this light, easy to ski, or without metal in it. To be completely honest we got used to the Blizzard Black Pearl series not having much competition at all, that's not the case anymore. When testing skis this is a favorite to be on regardless of conditions. It's nice being on the best and that's the Ripstick 94w -- it's perfect. It easily arcs turns and holds an edge on hard pack, it's a joy to ski through the trees, and it's awesome in powder. Oh, and it's light enough to throw a touring binding on if you're building a touring set-up. We have nothing negative to say about the Ripstick 94w, you won't either.
